Review of the LG 600 Cell Phone by Net 10

Review of the LG 600 Cell Phone by Net 10

This wasn’t a bad cell phone at all but one of the things I didn’t like about it was it felt a little to bulky and rather heavy for a flip phone and this sucked but it wasn’t too bad but it still was bad enough where it annoyed me. I also didn’t like the color of the buttons on the inside because it didn’t look good on this phone and it made the phone look cheap. The phone was very durable though and could take a lot of droppings which was a good thing so I will say this phone was very durable. The other thing I didn’t like was that the buttons felt rather cheap and I felt like I was going to damage them because of how cheap they felt which was not a good feeling to have and it would have been cool if this phone came with some nice games but the phone was rather boring when it came to fun stuff on the phone because it didn’t come with any fun games, not even any fun basic games which was a downer for me.

I liked the camera on this phone and even though the graphics were horrible and was still cool that this phone was cheap in price and still able to take photos with it so this was pretty cool but the quality of the camera really sucked and was horrible. I use to talk a lot on this phone and it actually had a decent battery life and I only had to charge it once a day which was good and made life convenient which I liked. The reception was good for the most part but there were a few times where the phone wouldn’t work that good but it did work for the most part which was great but the phone had a hard time in areas such as cellars, wooded areas and some busy city sections which I thought was weird but for the most part the phone worked where it needed to work but it would have been cool if the phone worked in some busy sections of a lot of different cities. Sometimes the speakerphone feature sucked on this phone and didn’t work a lot of times and once in awhile the phone’s speaker wouldn’t work at all for some reason and the person on the other end wouldn’t be able to hear me at all and this did get me ticked off quite often when this did happen.

The volume of this phone could get loud so it was nice because I could hear people loud and clear on the other end of the phone which was sweet. I also liked that this phone was only about forty bucks which was cheap and the quality of phone was good for being so cheap so this was great and a good surprise. The ringtones that came with …

Cell Phone Use 101

Cell Phone Use 101

Cell phones have been around for several years and during that time have changed from big clunky portable phones to miniature computers that can do a lot more than being used to call other people. So, for those of you with the ultra modern, sleek, the-only-thing-I-need-in-life phones, this may not be for you. However, if you are just entering the world of cell phone ownership and have no idea how to even begin to use it to make a call, read on.

A few years ago when I got my first cell phone I was unsure of what to do with it or even how to begin to use a cell phone. Even though the phone came with a manual, not all of my questions were answered.

My biggest question was, how do I use it to make a call? I think that most people would view that as a pretty basic but important question. Of course, that question was not answered in the manual or anywhere on their website. What I eventually learned is that it is not hard to use at all. First, it is not always necessary to dial in the area code and you never need to press 1 first, like you do on a land line. If you are saving someone as a contact, I would include the area code because you never know where you will be if you want to call them. If you want to use your cell phone for local calls, you can probably get away with not using the area code. However, if you are using your cell phone somewhere other than at home, you will need to use the area code. If you do not, then you never know who your cell phone will end up calling. Trust me. I have done this a few times and ended up talking to some really confused people. It is also a good idea to write down the phone numbers you have saved in your phone in case you lose your cell phone or your battery goes dead. So to make a call, first enter the phone number (with or without the area code) of the person you want to call.

A second thing to keep in mind when making a call is that you must press ‘Send’ or ‘Call’ or the green telephone button when you are finished entering the phone number. Unlike a land line, the phone will not automatically begin dialing. This is good because if you accidentally dial the wrong number, you can clear the last digits or move backwards to clear the wrong digits and enter the correct ones. However, if you forget to push the button, you can stand there for several seconds with the phone to your ear before you realize what you forgot. Then you end up feeling like a dork, even though no one around you knows what you did. Do not worry. We have all experienced this at …

The Easiest Phone Search Reverse Lookup System Ever – Learn How to Reverse Lookup a Phone Number

The Easiest Phone Search Reverse Lookup System Ever – Learn How to Reverse Lookup a Phone Number

If you want to perform a reverse cell phone number look up, you are not alone. People from everywhere across the country are curious about the number that keeps calling and hanging up, the number that keeps showing up on your girlfriend’s or boyfriend’s call history, the number that you found in your drawer with no name to it. Whatever the reason, curiosity spurs us to search for answers about who is on the other end of the phone.

Unfortunately, because cell phones are not listed in phone books and are not in the public domain for privacy reasons, it is much more difficult to trace a cell phone number than it is a landline number. There are many good reasons that these numbers are kept private and secure; however, we are slowly losing that privacy. As telemarketers and companies gain access to our cell phone numbers, it means we receive more solicitations and have to pay for more minutes. There are ways to conduct reverse look up inquiries for cell phone numbers.

Although cell numbers are not listed in phone books or public domain, the communication companies do keep track of numbers within their internal databases. Obviously, you are not allowed to go into these databases and search, but there are many companies who purchase information from these databases and compile all the results so they have access and a listing of almost all of the numbers across the United States.

Since the cell phone providers charge the listing services to access their databases, a reverse cell phone number look up will usually cost you a small fee.

Resuming, if you are really serious on your cell phone number search and you want accurate information instead of obsolete data, I urge you to perform a cell phone number search. The search fee is really low, and if you are desperate about getting the phone number owner personal information, then it is really worth it.

New Phone App Warns of Angry Messages

New Phone App Warns of Angry Messages

A new app coming for Android phones gives users fair warning about the tone of messages they are about to read, giving them, the AFP Newswire via the Mother Nature Network, reports, the ability to gird themselves before jumping in. Mail Online says that the app will help reduce stress by letting users arrange their messages by their emotional content so that they can read those that are angry or nasty when they are more fully ready and able to deal with them.

Computer scientists working at the University of Portsmouth, the AFP says, have integrated text recognition software with algorithms that are able to pick out words or phrases commonly used when people are angry, upset or are just being mean. The result was then programmed into a phone application for use by anyone with an Android enabled Smart phone. The app, called “Stress@Work” is expected to be posted for downloading by the end of the month.

Mail Online explains that for users, the app is simple; those messages that have an ugly tone are highlighted in red, those that are sweet and happy are shown in green, while those that are mostly innocuous are shown in blue.

The idea its makers told the AFP, is to give people some warning before reading a message. Quite often, those that receive angry, insulting or demeaning messages are shocked which causes the blood pressure to lower at first, then to rise when anger creeps in; such swings in blood pressure in combination with other physical reactions causes a lot of wear and tear on the body in the form of stress, which can weaken the immune system and over time lead to cardiovascular disease or even strokes. To reduce the impact of such messages, the team developed the color coded system to give message recipients time to comport themselves before reading a message that might upset them. That lead time they say, allows the body to get ready and thus the amount of stress is reduced.

Mail Online says the new app could likely help people who read less than happy message while at work. Knowing the tone will be angry lets employees better handle the stress that results and then to respond in a more professional manner.

The researchers also told the AFP that they are still hammering out the details of how to get the app to learn more as it goes by allowing users to grade the color coding. Over time, the system should get better and better, allowing users to learn to trust that the warnings it issues are correct.…

Panasonic RP-HT21 Lightweight Headphones with XBS Port Review:

Panasonic RP-HT21 Lightweight Headphones with XBS Port Review:

As a freelance writer I am often listening to music while writing on various topics of interest. Also as an avid lover of music I find that it is hard to find good headphones these days at an inexpensive price. I love listening to music when I write and often when I am doing other things on the Internet but do not want to disturb my family. I have purchased many headphones over the years without finding a cheap pair of high quality. Recently I purchased Panasonic RP-HT21 Lightweight Headphones with the XBS port and think I found what I was looking for. There are so many headphones out there on the market so it might be hard to find a good quality pair without spending too much money. If you are someone looking for a great pair of headphones at an unbeatable price then you should check out my review of the Panasonic RP-HT21 Lightweight Headphones with the XBS port.

Over the years I have spent around 200 dollars trying to find a great pair of headphones and it has never worked out very well. In this economy it is especially important to be very cautious about how much money you spend especially on items like headphones and accessories. I wanted a good quality pair of headphones that were inexpensive and easy to replace if needed so I began my quest to find the perfect pair. I found the Panasonic RP-HT21 Lightweight Headphones with the XBS port at Amazon and it was like a match made in heaven. These headphones are about 5 dollars and are some of the best headphones I think I have ever had. The XBS port is designed to give you an increased bass response and it works like a charm. I enjoy listening to music on a daily basis and was looking for a pair of headphones that would last through the heavy rock music I listen to. Typically, a pair of headphones would quit on me within a year and the usual cause was a blown speaker or the wiring would become very weak at the point where the speaker and wires meet. So I was naturally curious when I saw these online for about 5 dollars and figured I do not have anything to lose by trying them out.

Panasonic is a very good brand and I have come to enjoy their various products over the years. When I think of Panasonic I think of quality and reliability while maintaining a reasonable price but never have I seen five dollar headphones from them before. So I bought me a pair through Amazon and when I got them I was amazed. The headphones’ are very comfortable and are adjustable to fit your head no matter what size your head might be. I have had experiences with headphones where they were heavy and felt like they were weighing my ear down but these are not like …

The Turtle Tales Musical Mobile: Review

The Turtle Tales Musical Mobile: Review

My nephew was newly brought into this world and I was so excited about buying him something that he could find interest in as a newborn. I wasn’t sure what I wanted to buy him until my husband told me that I should consider buying him a mobile. I didn’t think anything of it because I was more interested in buying something more flashy. But once I thought it over I decided to check out a few mobiles at Walmart.

I shopped around for a couple of days and ran across the Turtle Tales Musical Mobile for $20. I was on a budget so I thought this would be the perfect gift. The reason why I decided upon the Turtle Musical Mobile was because of the price and the simplicity of it. I knew that as a newborn my nephew wasn’t going to be able to do much so this was going to be perfect.

Once I purchased the Turtle Tales Musical Mobile I took it over to my sisters house so she could assemble it and put it on my nephews baby crib. She adored the crisp strips and and polka dot material it came with. The Turtle Tales Musical Mobile also came with playful turtles that danced around the mobile once it was turned on.

Now even though the Turtle Tales Musical Mobile was cheap and entertaining it wasn’t a great value for the price. I guess when people say you get what you pay for , that’s exactly what they mean. The Turtle Musical Mobile wasn’t put together all that well. The one thing I noticed about the Turtle Tales Musical mobile was that the string the turtles hung on was attached by the neck and not the toy itself. So it came off a bit tacky and bootleg. I know this shouldn’t have been a big deal but when I first seen the Turtle Tales Musical Mobile on the Internet, I noticed that the turtles hung from the shell and not the turtle itself. So I felt as if I had been lied to. I also was a bit disappointed by the fact that when we hung the Turtle Tales Musical Mobile up, we got 1 brown turtle and 3 blue turtles. I was expecting to have all blue turtles because of the color scheme my sister was going with.

Another thing I disliked about the Turtle Tales Musical Mobile was that the attachment piece didn’t snap on to the baby bed all that well. It refused to stand up in a straight position. I found this to be unsafe because to me, it looked as if it wanted to fall right on top of my nephew.

The Turtle Tales Musical Mobile also had problems rotating fully. There were times where it would get stuck in the middle of rotation. My sister would have to push it every once in a while to get it to continue rotation.

How to Send Ringtones to Your Cell Phone

How to Send Ringtones to Your Cell Phone

This guide will show you how to make ring tones from music on your computer and send it to your cell phone for free. Please note, in order to do this you will need to download software called ToneThis and you will need a music player (such as windows media player, winamp, itunes, etc.). Download the free software. Before downloading, be sure to click on supported phones to make sure this software is compatible with your cellphone. Once you download the software, install it onto your computer. Now that you have the software needed to send the ring tone to your phone, it is time for you to pick the song you wish to send. Open up your music player (i.e., windows media player, etc.) and listen to the song you want to make a ring tone. While you’re listening to the song, write down on a piece of paper what part of the song you would like to use as the ring tone. You will need a starting point and ending point for the song (ex: start at 01:23, end at 01:33). Once you have written down the portion of the song you wish to use as a ring tone, it is time to install the ToneThis software.

When you run the software for the first time, it will ask for a serial number for pro edition. Ignore this. Click on the button underneath that says continue with free edition. Create a profile name for your phone, then enter your email address. Then enter your mobile phone information, country, carrier, manufacturer, handset, and cell phone number (ex., United States, Verizon, LG, VX8500). You will have to refer to the paperwork you received with your phone or go to your service provider to obtain the manufacturer and handset information. After entering your information press ok. You can close out the hints and tips screen that first appears, because I’m telling you how to use the program, or you can read it for more information.

You’ll notice at the top that you can send ring tones, wallpapers, videos, and games all to your phone. In this tutorial, however, I’m only covering ring tones. Click the browse button on the left hand side and locate the music file (song) you wish to make a ring tone out of. Tone this will process the file (convert it). Once it has finished you will see the song waveform in the middle of your screen. Below this you will see play and stop options, and song length information. Now it is time to pull out the piece of paper you wrote your song information on (the start time and end time of your ring tone). When you double click in the middle of the screen on the waveform you will notice a number shows. This number indicates where you are in the song. Find the starting point you wish to use (from my previous example above, start …

Reasons for Having a Pre Paid Mobile Phone

Reasons for Having a Pre Paid Mobile Phone

There are many reasons why some people choose a pre paid mobile phone rather than having a bill every month. Pre paid phones are especially great for children, as you don’t need to be a certain age to get one and you cant spend more money than you have topped up with, so no massive bills for mum and dad.

Pre paid mobile phones are also great for people who do not use their mobile much, if you don’t make many calls then you may not benefit from a contract and may in fact save money by going pre paid. Many of today’s pre paid plans even come with free calls and text messages, just like a pay monthly plan.

With a pre paid phone you do not need to worry about spending more than you can afford. You choose how much and how often to top up your phone and that is all you can spend, because you don’t receive a bill at the end of the month there are no nasty surprises and you can keep track of your spending easily.

Another reason many people choose a pre paid phone is that you are not tied into a long contract with a particular provider. If you come across a better deal you are free to switch providers, although you will need to purchase a new sim card and possibly get your phone unblocked so it will accept it. You can also change your handset as often as you like, something that is difficult and costly to do if you are on a contract.

There are of course drawbacks to having a pre paid phone, if you do make a lot of calls you may be better off financially with a contract phone as many of these come with free minutes and texts for a set price a month. If having the newest most up to date phone is important to you this could be costly if you are buying the handset on a pre paid tariff. Also if your handset is lost or stolen you will likely loose any credit on it and it could be difficult to get your original phone number back to use on a new handset, if however you have a contract phone your provider simply cancels your sim card and issues a new one.

Although there are drawbacks to having a pre paid mobile phone, they are very well suited to a lot of people. Pre paid phones are great for children and people who do not use their phone much as you are not paying for minutes you are not going to use. Many people also use their mobile phone simply for incoming calls, this is another great benefit of pre paid phones as with many tariffs there is no minimum top up so you can top up your phone once and then anyone can get you wherever you are.…
